Up to 85% of the Asperger’s population are without full-time employment, though many have above-average intelligence.

Rudy Simone, an adult with Asperger’s Syndrome and an accomplished author, consultant, and musician, created this insightful resource to help employers, educators, and therapists accommodate this growing population, and to help people with Asperger’s find and keep gainful employment.

Rudy’s candid advice is based on her personal experiences and the experiences of over 50 adults with Asperger’s from all over the world, in addition to their employers and numerous experts in the field.

Detailed lists of “what the employee can do” and “to employers and advocates” provide balanced guidelines for success, while Rudy’s “Interview Tips” and “Personal Job Map” tools will help Aspergians, young or old, find their employment niche.

There is more to a job than what the tasks are. From social blunders, to sensory issues, to bullying by coworkers, Simone presents solutions to difficult challenges. Readers will be enriched, enlightened, and ready to work—together!

"360 News and Business Bulletin" — Erica Hill

Rating: 4

ERICA HILL, CNN ANCHOR: Anderson, John Lennon’s killer was denied parole today for a fifth time. Mark David Chapman will serve at least two more years in New York’s Attica correctional facility for murdering the former Beatle in 1980. He is up for parole again in 2010. More than half of US companies and nearly three-quarters of foreign operations doing business here in the US paid no federal income taxes for at least one year out of eight. That coming to us from a new government study. And during that same time, we’ve learned the businesses did trillions of dollars in sales. The report says the companies avoided taxes through operating losses, tax credits, and by shifting income to no-tax countries. Words over the credit crisis have stocks tumbling today, the Dow down nearly 140 pounds to settle at 11642. The NASDAQ basically flat, but it did drop nine while the S&P lost almost 16 points. A Burger King employee in Ohio caught on tape taking a bath in the restaurant sink. COOPER: How bizarre. HILL: So strange. And now this person is going to have to find not only a new tub, Anderson, but a new job. The video ended up online where the county health commissioner ran across it. Two employees involved in the Senate were fired, another quit. COOPER: What was he thinking? HILL: The question may be what else was he doing before he got in the tub? COOPER: Really? I hadn’t even thought about that, actually. HILL: I don’t know. Maybe — meaning — maybe there was some substance that

Our visit to 4 Seasons Marchadores Ranch in Hamilton Montana

Rating: 5

We took a trip to Hamilton Montana to visit the 4 Seasons Marchador Ranch owned by Peter and Lori Silcher. The whole family had a great time playing by and in the pond, having a wonderful BBQ with Brazilian style steaks thanks to Cassio, and we got to ride some of their horses! Maria got to ride Netuno and I got to ride Celibalto. I have to admit that they are truely an amazing horse and we look forward to another visit to a farm that is a great ambassador for their breed of choice! I have been breeding Arabian Ponies and have now found the last key ingredient I want to add to my ponies for my ultimate trail pony and that is Mangalarga Marchador! The Silchers were wonderful hosts along with their family and trainer Cassio Jorge. It was great fun and look forward to another visit! So this video is of Maria getting to ride Netuno Lapidade in the arena before they took off down the driveway to do some cool gaiting but I couldn’t tell ya if it was the Picada or Batida but Maria could tell ya! This girl was in horsey heaven on that gelding! Lori Silcher was riding her mare Tapixaba and you can see Cassio in the background riding Grao. Thank you so much Peter and Lori and family(and Cassio too)!

[Great Movie Scenes] Good Will Hunting – Park Scene

Rating: 4

Just a terrific scene. I don’t know what else to say. Great acting by Robin Williams. You call actually feel what he is saying. A little background: Matt Damon sees a painting in Robin Williams office, who plays his psychiatrist, and assumes he knows everything about him by just looking at it. Needless to say, Robin Williams is pissed, and this is their next meeting.
